It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence G. Oliver Jr. (Gloucester, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 9, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence G. Oliver Sr. and Hortense Oliver (Naves); and his siblings, Mary Voller, Nancy Oliver, Geraldine Puglisi and Ralph Oliver.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Oliver (Malaquias) of Gloucester; his sons, Lawrence G. "Butch" Oliver III (Cordelia), Richard "Rick" Oliver (Nina) of Gloucester, John Oliver (Aimee) of New Hampshire, Robert "Bob" Oliver (Sherrie) of Peabody, Michael Oliver (Taryn) of Gloucester and Steven Oliver (Elizabeth) of Gloucester; his grandchildren, Joshua Oliver, Courtney Martin, Lucas Oliver, Zachary Oliver, Shakyra Ayers, Marissa Oliver, Michael Oliver, Jessica Oliver, Rosalie Consiglio and Nichole Oliver; his great grandchildren, Maya Curran and Khanean Clarke; and his sisters, Barbara Cream of Gloucester and Judith Mitchell of Gloucester. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
