It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Wagner (Gloucester, Massachusetts), born in Hershey, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 22, 2018, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin B. Wagner; her parents, Captain Albert and Agnes Arnold; and her brothers, Kenneth, Alvin, Joseph and Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Natalie Hopson (Alan) of Salisbury, MD and Edwin B. Wagner, Jr.; her wife Deborah Wagner of Gainesville, VA; her brothers, Richard Arnold of Gloucester, MA and Robert Arnold of Gloucester, MA; and also Robert Wagner (Linda) of Volcano, HI. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Phyllis A Marine Association, 81 Rocky Neck Ave., Gloucester, MA 01930 dedicated to preserving Gloucester's oldest fishing vessel named after her.
