He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorothy Johnson and John "Boyk" Johnson; his children, William S. Johnson (Jennifer M. Johnson), Matthew T. Johnson and Meredith L. Johnson; his grandchildren, Isabelle, Sophia and Liam; his siblings, John Paul, Theresa and Mary Ann; his nieces and nephews, John Borge, Dawn Borge, Jayme Putannsu and Patti Ann Porter; and his wife Marjorie E. Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
