He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Mary (Duane); and his siblings, William Mara, Michael Mara and Maryann Mamuska.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly A. Mara (Christo); his children, Joseph D. Mara (Josephine) of Millbury and Nancy A. Fay (Paul) of Charlestown; his grandchildren, Chloe and Seamus Fay; and his brother James Mara of Sterling. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
