He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Carson and Shirley Carson (Hall); his wife Sandra; his children, Lisa Smith (Lucas) of Holly Hill, SC and Richard of Greenfield; his grandsons, Thomas Smith, Nicholas Smith and Ryan Smith; and his great grandchildren, Samantha Smith and Jaxson Smith.
