He is survived by: his wife Denise Deshaies (Plante); his children, Julie Deshaies of Methuen, MA, Marie Kissel (Michael) of Hampstead, NH, Amy D'Arcy (Matthew) of Salisbury, MA and David Deshaies (Paula Gagnon) of Killington, VT; his grandsons, Mark Kissel of Danville, NH, Shane D'Arcy of Waltham, MA and Joshua D'Arcy of Amesbury, MA; his brothers, Andre (Pat Deshaies) and Paul (Helen Deshaies); his sister-in-law Madeleine Ashe of Belmont, MA; and his great grandchildren, Cody, Lexi Mulcahy, Noah and Eli Ramirez. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the charity of the donor's choice.
