He was predeceased by : his parents, Clayton T. Fortier and Ina J. Fortier (Hodge); and his brother Clayton T. Fortier, Jr.. He is survived by : his children, Janet S. Carson (Steven) of Hampden, Nancy E. Paltell (Jack), Gary M. Fortier (René), Sally A. Murphy (John) and Robert W. Fortier; and his grandchildren, Lisa, Violet, Benjamin, Casey and Reilly.
