We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2025, at the age of 79, Alan F Dow of Hanover, Massachusetts, born in Hull, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Lillian Dow; his siblings, Nancy Polito of Cohasset, Leslie Franke of Weymouth, Doris Dow of Hull, Ted Dow of Rhode Island and Phil Dow of Hull; his children, Kimberly Dinneen (David) of Weymouth, Robert MacNeil of Hull, Krista Gannon (Ryan) of Weymouth, Tanya Ciavola of Abington and Sarah King (Christopher) of Halifax; and his grandchildren, Bella Ciavola of Abington, Olivia MacNeil of New Hampshire, Ryan Carita-Daly of Weymouth and Rylee Carita-Gannon of Weymouth. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Home (21 Pond St, Hingham, MA 02043).
