Carney (Hudson); his stepchildren, Beverly Russo of Waltham, Diane Russo, Patricia Borden (Russo) of Whitman, Stephen Russo, Darlene Regan (Russo) of Hanson, Alan Russo of Stoneham, Bryan Russo of Marshfield, James Carney of Wakefield and Robert F. Carney, Jr. of Marshfield; and his siblings, Margaret, William, Ronald and Lorraine. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews, as well as his friends.
