It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Haynie Jr. of Harwich, Massachusetts, born in Hackensack, New Jersey, who passed away on October 22, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Donna Marie Haynie (Murphy); his parents, John R. Haynie and Myrtle Haynie (Ruether); his sister Judith Bedell (Theodore); his children, Sharon, Theodore Jr. and Maraha "Vicki"; his brother-in-law Michael Murphy (Cindi); his nieces and nephews, Sean, Ryan and Laura; and also, Robert Murphy (Rita), Heather, Alec, Ben and Cole.
