He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kouns and Annie Goodell Kouns; and his siblings, Mary E. Papineau and James Kouns. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Joan, Karen, Linda and Frank Papineau of Saugus; and his goddaughter Betty Ann Penney (Hubner) of Voorhees, NJ.
