He was predeceased by: his parents, Jagat Singh and Anand Kaur. He is survived by: his spouse Jasminder Kaur; his children, Ranjit Singh (Kuldeep Kaur) of Billerica and Kamaljeet Atwal (Lakhwinder Atwal); his grandchildren, Amrinder, Amrita, Anmoll, Armaan and Angadveer; and his siblings, Gurbax Grewal of India, Blawinder Dhindsa of India and Jassjit Singh of India. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
