It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose A. Nunez Figueroa (Haverhill, Massachusetts), who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Figueroa Guevara and Salvador Nunez Gonzalez; and his brothers, Luis Nunez, Salvador Nunez Jr. and Carlos Nunez.
He is survived by: his children, Johana Nunez, Jose Nunez (Amaris Oquendo) and Jaime Nunez of Haverhill; his siblings, Rafael Nunez Figueroa, Carmen Nunez Figueroa, Iris Nunez and Eliezer Nunez; his grandchildren, Jason, Myrom, Joanilca, Jesse, Destiny, Leo, Deandra, Delyzabeth, Isaac, Gabriel, Johmaris, Jeremy, Brianna, Jesiah, Darby and Tatiana; and his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Eleanor, Elora and Anais. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home (486 Main St, Haverhill, MA 01830).
