Reid Garrant Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Reid Garrant (Haverhill, Massachusetts), born in Melrose, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
At 6'3" and 290lbs he had an undeniable presence…but he was kind, loving, funny, loyal and so much more to family and friends alike. Reid had a huge heart and would do absolutely anything for anyone! One of Reid's favorite quotes was, "Family, God & Football". Reid was raised Catholic and belonged to Holy Redeemer/St. Ann's Parish in West Newbury, Ma, where he received his confirmation. He had a strong faith in God, which carried him through life. When talking with Reid's closest friends about who he was, they said, "Reid was not the life of the party…he was the party". Reid is survived by his father Brian Garrant and his wife Pamela of Saugus and mother Paula (Counihan) Garrant of Haverhill, formerly of Winthrop, his Sister and Best Friend Taylor Garrant of Haverhill, MA; step father Daniel McCallister of Portsmouth, NH, step-sister's Gianna, Bianca and Alexa Faysal of Saugus; Step-Sister's Sarah and Maddy McCallister of Stratham, NH; Paternal Grandmother, Faith Garrant of Plattsburgh, NY and Auntie, Claire Landry of East Boston; Reid is now with his angels- Grandmother, Marion Landry of Winthrop, MA; Grandfather, John Counihan of Los Angeles, CA (formerly Boston); David Garrant of Plattsburgh, NY and Uncle, Paul Landry of East Boston; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
