We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2018, at the age of 99, Roberta A Banta (Haverhill, Massachusetts), born in Uncasville, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Malcolm Hoy, Russell Hoy, Marvis Hoy, Thelma Oates and Natalie Hill.
She is survived by: her husband Elford Banta; her daughters, Sandra Freeman (Raymond) of East Stroudsburg, PA and Karen Dermody (Kevin) of Danville, NH.; her grandchildren, Heather Hutchens, Meredith Greene, Holly Belau, Schlonge Farrow and Michael Dermody; and her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Samuel, David Hutchens, Sydney Greene, Zoe Belau, Noah Dermody and Anna Farrow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory to the Quaker Hill Baptist Church, 144 Old Norwich Rd., Quaker Hill, CT 06375.
