She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Allen and Louise B. Allen (Houston); her husband Donald B. Fitzsimmons; and her brother John E. Allen, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Bruce Fitzsimmons (Alyson) of Arlington; her grandchildren, Kyle Fitzsimmons of Montreal, Emily Fitzsimmons of Arlington and Hunter Fitzsimmons of Arlington; and her sister-in-law Sally Allen (Hutchinson) of Bloomfield, Connecticut..
Due to the current Covid-19 health protocols, the family is planning a Private Funeral Service at Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel in Hingham.
