He was predeceased by : his parents, John McCarthy and Eleanor McCarthy; his brother Paul McCarthy; and his sibling-in-law Aelreda Dashkoff (Neil). He is survived by : his wife Maryellen McCarthy; his children, Christine (Tony Chiulli), Michael (Karen McCarthy), Jennifer (Michael Gavin) and Brian McCarthy; his grandchildren, William Gavin, Casey McCarthy, Jessica Gavin, Madison McCarthy, Nicholas Chiulli, Matthew Gavin, Colleen Chiulli, Alyssa Chiulli, Lauren Chiulli and Daniel Martinez; his siblings, Maureen Ghublikian (Jack) and Jack McCarthy (Cathy); and his sisters-in-law, Helen Flanders, Anne Donovan (John) and Christine Koenig (Eric).
