He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Catherine S. McCann (Allison) of Quincy and Richard J. McCann, Jr. (Raised); his wife Doris S. McCann (Blaikie); his children, Richard Patrick McCann (Ashley) and Emma Patricia McCann of Hingham; his grandchildren, Isabella and Cameron; his siblings, Alyson J. McCann (late Jake O'Neil) of West Greenwich, R. I. and Kristen A. Lacasse (Gerry) of Milton; his siblings' children, Sarah (Luke), Ryan, Catie, Bobby and Anna; his uncle Robert S. "Bob" Allison of Quincy; his parents-in-law, Patricia Blaikie of Hingham and Robert Blaikie; his brother-in-law Robert Blaikie (Maria) of Danvers; his sister Catherine Mori (Chris) of Plymouth; and his nieces, Margaret Mori and Caroline Mori.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mount Wollaston Cemetery (20 Sea St, Quincy, MA 02169).
