He was predeceased by: his brothers, Everett, Herbert and Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Emily; his children, Stephen Hassell, Diane DeCoste of Arlington, Virginia Campbell, Diane Murphy of Norwich, CT, Daniel Hassell, Kathleen Hassell of Norwell, Mary Hassell-Hunt, John Sousa of Rumford, RI, Alan Hassell and Susan Zwick of Arlington; his great grandchildren, Travis and Olivia; and his sister Kathleen Ledbetter of Medfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
