He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Grace; his parents, Elijah and Elizabeth; and his siblings, William Estey and Betty Gorman.

He is survived by: his wife Florence Estey (Carlezon); his children, Edward Estey (Susan), Carolyn Panasci (Anthony) and Suzanne McCadden (Jim); his grandchildren, Eddie, Marco, Nic, Alison, Brianna, Meagan and James; and his sister Sandra Ambrose. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors.
