He was predeceased by: his parent Lawrence Sass, Jr.. He is survived by: his parent Dorothy Sass (Gidley); his stepparent Peggy Sass of Holbrook; his siblings, Barbara St, Deborah Robinson (Joseph) of Hingham and Marilyn M. Soper (Ben) of Norwell; his stepsibling Donald Gorrel; and his friend Gregory Otis Wadlington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as cousins.
