Rita A. (Powers) Austin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita A. (Powers) Austin (Holbrook, Massachusetts), born in Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 15, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Powers and Geraldine A. Powers (Sullivan); and her brother Stephen Powers. She is survived by: her husband John B. Austin; her children, Brian Austin of Duxbury, Jeffrey Austin (Shelby) of Marshfield and Paula Sullivan of Marshfield; her siblings, Ellen Hannigan (Wayne) of Marion and Lawrence Powers (Elaine) of Halifax; and her grandchildren, Abby Austin, Amelia Austin, Eliza Austin, Lilly Austin and Jack Austin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, which include face coverings, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, December 22nd from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 S. Franklin St., Holbrook.
