He was predeceased by: his parent William Hardie; and his spouse Nancy Hardie (McDonough). He is survived by: his parent Christina Hardie (Dickson); his child David Hardie of Dorchester; and his siblings, David Hardie of Holbrook, Ruby Gourlay of Holbrook and William Hardie of Holbrook. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
