Ruth (Lakey) Sprague Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2020, Ruth (Lakey) Sprague (Holbrook, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Lakey and Lillian Lakey (Dupras); and her sibling Shirley Hollstein. She is survived by: her children, Macdonald Sprague, Jr. of Marshfield, Gerald Sprague (Maria) of Wellesley, Mary Ellen Sprague-Duym of Stonington, ME, Susan Silva (Richard) of Easton, Roderick Sprague (Lisa) of Duxbury and Peter Sprague (Patricia) of Kingston; and her siblings, Teddy Lakey and Marjorie Parrino. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
In keeping with the COVID-19 guidelines, which include face coverings and social distancing, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Thursday, July 16th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 S. Franklin St., Holbrook.
