He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick and Catherine (Meenaghan); his siblings, John, Marion, Kay and Anna; his son-in-law Obrad; his son Patrick; and his wife Irene (Hart).

He is survived by: his children, Sharyn Blagoyevic, Catherine Gallagher (Tim) and Mitchell Cauley (Christine); and his grandchildren, Tara, Ryan, Sarah, Nicholas, Kelly, Kristin, Eve, Katherine, Sara, Cindy and Mary.
