She was predeceased by : her husband Albert Kell; her parents, Charles A. Gaffney and Margaret F. Gaffney (Plouffe); and her sisters, Margaret F. Falvey and Emma M. Flaherty.

She is survived by : her children, Robert James Roach III of Boston, MA and Sandra (Marc Simmler) of Uxbridge, MA; her siblings, Julia E. Gaffney of Franklin, MA, Charles F. Gaffney of Milford, MA and Richard M. Gaffney (Arlene) of Bellingham, MA; and her nieces and nephews, Charlene Thompson of Milford, MA and Kelly J. Gaffney of Bellingham, MA.
