He was predeceased by : his parents, James P. Johnson and Helen Johnson (Sheehan); and his brothers, James and John. He is survived by : his son James Johnson of Medway, MA; his siblings, Ann Kampersal (Johnson) of Millville, MA and William of Hopedale, MA; and his sister-in-law Patricia Johnson (Ellsworth) of Northboro, MA. He is also survived by his cousins, aunt and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hopedale Permanent Fire Department, 40 Dutcher Street, Hopedale, MA. 01747.
