The memory of Dorothy Pyne of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, born in Framingham, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 6, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Scagnelli and Dorothy Scagnelli (Keogh); and her brother-in-law Francis Pyne. She is survived by: her husband Henry Arthur Pyne of Hopkinton, MA; her children, Jeffrey (Cheryl Pyne) of Hopkinton, MA, David (Donna Pyne) of Ashland, MA and Patricia (Michael Zepf) of Hopkinton, MA.; her grandchildren, Heather Pyne, Daniel Pyne (Melissa), Randy Pyne (Victoria), Marissa Tye (Chad), Sean Pyne (Kathleen), Kelsey Zepf (Colin), Haley Semnoski (Jon), Jaimey Zepf, Brian Pyne, Tyler Pyne and Jordan Pyne; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Pyne (Burr). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home (325 Main St, Ashland, MA 01721). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home (325 Main St, Ashland, MA 01721).
