He was predeceased by: his parents, James Meagher and Lila Meagher (Clark); his wife Catherine Meagher (Ryan); and his siblings, Phyllis McGrath, Ruth Kingsley, William Meagher, Wendell Meagher, Ralph Meagher and Earl Meagher.
He is survived by: his children, Katherine White (George) of Templeton, Deb Meagher of Gardner, Jo-Ann Meagher of Gardner, Steve Meagher of Petersham and Alan Meagher of Hubbardston; his siblings, James Meagher of Rutland, Robert Meagher of Hubbardston, June Lindsten of Hubbardston and Eunice Valley of Florida; his grandchildren, David White, Kathy Seavey, Ellis Cole, Jr. and Eric Cole; his great grandchildren, Meaghan White, Alan Seavey, Shannon Seavey, Liam Cole, Laci Cole and Austin Cole; and his great great grandchild Connor Sebastian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to Wachusett Manor Nursing Home - Activities Department, 32 Hospital Hill Road, Gardner, MA 01440.
