He was predeceased by : his parents, Chester Allen Howes and Marianna Alfreda Howes (Weller); and his sibling Martha Poist. He is survived by : his spouse Joyce A. Howes (Huhtanen); his children, David Howes of North Carolina and Melissa Laakso of West Yarmouth, MA.; and his siblings, Beverly Todd of Marston Mills, MA, Alice Hayes of California, Robert Howes of Marston Mills, MA and Richard Howes of Hyannis, MA.. He is also survived by eighteen nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
