He is survived by: his wife Eileen McCarthy (O'Reilly); his children, Katie Germano (Travis) of Milton, Shamus McCarthy of Boxborough and Patrick McCarthy (Diandra) of Wakefield; his sisters, Sheila Winter of Somerville, Carol Fifield of St. Simons Island, GA, Kathy Parker of St. Simons Island, GA and Mary Beth Owen of St. Simons Island, GA; and his grandchildren, Abigail, Julianna, Jack and Evelyn.
