She was predeceased by : her spouse Oliver Perry Ferrell; and her parent James Gillespie. She is survived by : her parent Vera Gillespie; her children, Carolyn Ferrell, Leslie Ann Koch and Michael Ferrell; her grandchildren, Kayli Ferrell, Max Calabro, Nicholas Koch and Zachary Koch; and her sister Veronica "Roni" Stratton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to the MSPCA / Cape Cod, 1577 Falmouth Road, Centerville, MA, 02632.
