She was predeceased by : her parents, John Carlson and Ruth Carlson (Ellis); her son Timothy Klepser; her brother John "Tommy" Carlson; and her grandchildren, Amy Richards and Wess Eldridge.
She is survived by : her children, Sally Medeiros of Maine, Betsy Bernard of Florida, Ginny Bernard of Plymouth, Tamra Ham of New Hampshire and Teddy Klepser of Maine; and her close friend Ricky. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to an Alzheimer's organization of choice.
