With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Richard McAree (Hyannis, Massachusetts), born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on July 19, 2018 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his brothers, James of Waterbury, John of Waterbury and Robert of Waterbury. He is survived by : his wife Janet (Bradshaw); and his children, Karen Bullock of Centerville, MA, Kimberly Dufort, Richard, Peter of Hopkinton, MA, Stephen of Annapolis, MD, Robert and John of Melrose, MA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations may be made to VNA Hospice and Palliative Care of Cape Cod.
