She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles LaFreniere and Lorraine LaFreniere (LaDuke); her husband William Forkey; her son Jason Forkey; and her sisters, Patricia Florence, Susan Forkey and Barbara Pincince.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Buck (Ronald Buck); her sisters, Frances Flynn, Judith Fleury and Lynn White; her grandchildren, Haley D'Amico (Joseph D'Amico), Nolan Buck (Myranda Buck), Jagger Forkey and Jamison Forkey; her great grandchild Hunter D'Amico; Amy Forkey. She is also survived by family, Mary leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Church (191 Hubbard St, Ludlow, MA 01056).
As an alternative to flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in Mary's name, honoring her strength, courage, and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
