He is survived by: his wife Shirley McCarthy (Conrad); his children, Teresa McCarthy of Tampa, FL, Brenda McCarthy of Tampa, FL, Cindy Holshuh (Don) of Surry, NH and Ronald McCarthy (Martha McCarthy) of Ipswich, MA; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Alex, Robert and Connar; and his great grandchildren, Emmy, Elyse and David.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to: The Alzheimer's Association of Eastern Massachusetts, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
