He is survived by : his children, John R. Almonte Jr. and Marilyn Downey; his grandchildren, Kathleen Downey, Thomas Downey (Vickie), Rebecca Groccia (Jarrett) and Michael Almonte (Lisa); his great grandchildren, Lilly, Sophia Groccia, Natalie and Melanie Almonte; his sister Rita Turo; and his brothers-in-law, Anthony Locantore, John Pultorak and Nicholas Cammuso.

Masks and social distancing in the funeral home must be observed.
