He was predeceased by: his spouse Karen Demers (Nielsen); his parent Elmer Demers; his child Kristy Lee Demers; and his sibling John Demers. He is survived by: his parent Kathleen Demers (Griffin); his daughters, Teresa Dineen, Julie Allen (Ricky), Lori Godfrey, Kelly DeVincent, Kathy Miller (Steve) and Joy Lydon (Nick); his stepdaughter Melody Lauzon; his sister Jean Russell (Fred); and his sister-in-law Carolyn Demers. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
