He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Mildred; and his siblings, Edward Jollimore, Joseph Moore, Francy Moore and Kathy Moore.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Priscilla Anderson; his children, James J. Gentile of Lakeville, Denise Gentile Lombardi (David) of Carver and Lisa Gentile Desharnais (Edward) of Halifax; his stepdaughter Nancy Dersoier; his siblings, James Moore of Rhode Island, Kenneth Moore of Maryland, Betty Tucker of Kentucky and Donna Gentile of California; his grandchildren, Shannon McCue, Melinda McCue, James Gentile, Jr., Jennifer and Michael Dersoier; his great grandchildren, Kyle McCue, Tayla-Marie McCue, Kendall Rose Johnson, Owen Knight, Jayden Gentile Rebello, Roxy Gentile, Luke Gentile, Paisley Low, Aurora Rebello and Ezra; and his pet Cory.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home (373 Court St, Plymouth, MA 02360). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Vine Hills Cemetery (102 Samoset St, Plymouth, MA 02360).
