With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Elaine Yameen (Lawrence, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Thomas Yameen; her children, Donna Yameen, Ellen Yameen, William Yameen and Allyson Turrisi; her grandchildren, Rose Goodwin, Ann Goodwin, Nina Yameen, Maxwell Turrisi, Julia Turrisi, Uma Yameen, Alexander Turrisi and Scarlet Burt; her siblings, Gary Gallant, Joseph Gallant, Martin Gallant, Cynthia Gallant, Gina Wakelin, Gail Saunders and Scott Gallant; and her family Elaine.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider sharing a favorite memory of Elaine or simply raising a toast in her name—preferably in PEI, with music playing and laughter in the air. Keep Mary's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
