He is survived by: his friend Barbara Cheresh; his significant other Betsey Williams; his sister Jeanne Brook of Devon; his former wife Joan Biggers; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Madeline, Nicola Salzman, Megan, Jason, Katie Wasserman, Samuel, William and Daniel Biggers; his stepgrandchildren, Jacob Colbath-Hess, Sophie Colbath-Hess, Elias Hess-Childs, Alan Hess-Childs, Rowan Hess and Linden Hess; his great grandchild Kiran Pollock; and also, David Biggers, Philippa Biggers (Robert Salzman) of Wellesley, MA and Jennifer Biggers Wasserman (Peter Wasserman) of Hopkinton, NH.
A memorial service and reception will be held at Brookhaven, 1010 Waltham St, Lexington MA, Sunday, April 22 at 3 pm; parking at Lexington Lodge (959 Waltham St); accepting donations in lieu of flowers to: Planned Parenthood or to the Arnold Arboretum.
