It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Malcolm W. Reed Jr. (Lexington, Massachusetts), born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on April 9, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Deborah McCormick Reed; his children, Christopher Reed, Lucinda Reed Wittenberg and Melissa Reed; his children-in-law, Molly Burt Reed and Charlie Wittenberg; his grandchildren, Olivia Reed, Colby Reed, Benjamin Wittenberg, Jackson Wittenberg, Charlotte Hammond, Malcolm Hammond and Tessa Hammond; and his siblings, David Reed (Kathy) of Bryn Mawr, PA, Elizabeth Furey (Betty) of Lenox, MA and Mary Hirt of Fairfax, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Federated Church of Edgartown, Hope Hospice or the American Kidney Fund.
