He was predeceased by : his siblings, Claire E. Longton, Rita L. Radzik, Germaine T. Kloczkowski and Henry J. Brochu; and his parents, Joseph W. Brochu and Irene Brochu (Poudrier).
He is survived by : his wife Cora F. Brochu (Fontaine); his children, Stephen R. "Nipper" Brochu of Irmo, SC, Brian J. Brochu of Redfield, SD and Brenda L. Knapik of Northbridge; his grandchildren, Courtney A. Brochu of Columbia, SC, Joseph R. Brochu of Irmo, SC, Brianna J. Voeller of Soux Falls, SD, Jillian C. Witte of Brookings, SD, Samuel J. Knapik of Northbridge and Dr. Laura O. Knapik of Portland, ME; his great grandchildren, Peter Voeller of South Dakota, Chris Voeller of South Dakota, Jeremiah Hovey of South Dakota and Ryker Hovey of South Dakota; and his siblings, Richard D. Brochu of Kissimmee, FL, Ernest E. Brochu of Northbridge and Lorraine M. Duso of Arizona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
