He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Anne O'Rourke (Stearns); his parents, John E. Sr. O'Rourke and Mary O'Rourke (Burke); his grandson John "Johnny" E. O'Rourke, IV; and his siblings, James O'Rourke and Mary Kelley.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Jane O'Rourke (William Davis) of Seabrook, TX, Patricia Anne Muisener (Richard) of Basking Ridge, NJ and John (Anna) of East Longmeadow, MA.; his grandchildren, Regina Marie, Mary Ellen Davis, Christian, Claire Muisener, Mary Kate, Michael and Audrey O'Rourke; and his sister Catherine Kelley of Hadley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
