It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Biondina V. Bettencourt of Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 19, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Martins Bettencourt; her parents, Joaquin Leandro and Francisca Leandro (Veira); her daughter Teresa Bettencourt; her siblings, Joaquin (Nelsina Leandro) and Maria V. Leandro; and her brother-in-law Francisco (Virginia Bettencourt).
She is survived by: her children, Norberto Bettencourt of Lowell and Dorothy (Antonio Ortins) of Lowell; her grandchildren, Norman (Mari Bettencourt) of Bronx, NY, Monica (Dave Rondeau) of Maine, Kevin (Yanitza Ortins) of Lowell and Melissa (Nicole Ortins) of Methuen; her great grandchildren, Adrianna Bettencourt, Elizabeth Rondeau, Madelyn Rondeau and Kevin Ortins Jr.; her son Daniel Bettencourt; and her siblings, Manuel (Helia Leandro), Frank (Irene Leandro) and Leojilda V. (Manuel Espinola). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren, and friends.
DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC, HER FUNERAL AND BURIAL IN ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY WILL BE HELD PRIVATELY.
