With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diamantina Freitas of Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 15, 2020 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Diamantina Freitas to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Faustino Gouveia and Virginia Gouveia (Fernandes); and her brother Joseph Gouveia. She is survived by: her children, Gloria Parker of Lowell and David Freitas (Zita) of Tewksbury; her grandchildren, Nicole Johnson (Derek) and Kurt Freitas; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Avery Johnson; her goddaughters, Rosemarie Bedard and Diane Wisenburg; and her brother Anthony Gouveia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
DUE TO REGULATIONS REGARDING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, HER FUNERAL SERVICES, INCLUDING BURIAL IN ST. PATRICK'S CEMETERY WILL TAKE PLACE PRIVATELY.
