He is survived by: his mother Ruth Waithira Njoroge; his wife Alice Marenga-Gathumbi; his children, Daniel Gathumbi of Lowell, Stephen Kimani Gathumbi of Kenya and Charity Waithera Gathumbi of Kenya; and his siblings, Florence Wambui Kimani of Seattle, WA, James Kimungu Njoroge of Kenya, Gitau Njoroge of Kenya, Bedan Njoroge of Kenya, Isabelle Wangui of Kenya and Mwangi Njoroge of Kenya.
