He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Wais and Marta Wais (Marchaus). He is survived by: his spouse Mary Ann Richards; his daughter Brenda D. Edwards (Curtis); his grandchildren, Grady A. Edwards and Emma M. Edwards; his siblings, Waltraud "Trudy" Martignetti of Wilmington, MA and Werner Wais (Adid) of Cottonwood, AZ; and his great-nephew Cole M. Richards of Tyngsboro, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
