He was predeceased by: his parents, Suy Taing and Kingmann Taing (Chao). He is survived by: his wife Lang Yu Taing; his children, Haye Fong Taing, Jianli Taing, David Khain Vay Taing, Hang Taing, Chiu Yi Taing, Chantra Suy and Lihuo Taing; and his siblings, Lang Taing of Lowell, Leang Sim Taing and Sue Taing Yin. He is also survived by his seven children and eighteen grandchildren.
