It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Hopkins of Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edric Hopkins and Doris Hopkins (Shea); and his sister Margaret "Peggy". He is survived by: his wife Lorraine M. Hopkins (Langlois); his children, Linda Silvestri Hopkins of Belmont, NH and Edric V. Hopkins (Laurie) of Nashua, NH; his stepson Richard Harvey of Lowell; his grandchildren, Zachary Hopkins (Karen) of Webster, NH and Jessica Plante (Kevin) of Weare, NH; his great grandchildren, Lillian and Kaydence; his siblings, Mary Gagnon (George), Helen Gauthier (Bob), Robert Hopkins (Connie), Ralph Hopkins (Jeannine) and Doris Ayotte (Eddie); and his siblings-in-law, Rita Tessier (Robert), Gloria Langlois and Albert Gaudette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
For those attending, facial coverings are respectfully required and social distancing measures will be in place. His funeral service and interment will be held privately.
